We value diversity in informing our views and work, and believe cultural competence begins with awareness of our own attitudes, biases, and beliefs. Embedding culturally responsive principles in our work and having a “shared lived” experience (as women, daughters of immigrants, and leaders of color) allows us to be more attuned to hear what community stakeholders are saying through their words and silence.
We seek to give voice to the community and encourage clients to foster community input during research design. We strive to conduct research that is accessible, empowers communities, and drives innovation and strategy.
Furthermore, we staff our projects with qualified and experienced consultants who not only add cultural, racial, ethnic and gender diversity, but whose equity values align with ours.
